Ste Rose School

Community Report

2007-2008

Ste. Rose School serves a student body from a mainly agricultural population. Just over half of our students travel by bus to school from the surrounding rural area while the remainder lives within town limits. As of June 2008, Ste. Rose School houses 271 students from Kindergarten to Senior 4. We have a staff of 20 teachers and 14 support staff members and provide a full academic program. The school offers a wide range of extracurricular activities including athletics, senior band, yearbook, and woodworking club.  The school has a small canteen, which provides a hot lunch for our grade 5-12 students.  Ste. Rose School has an active parent committee and student council.
